when i was growing up, sugar cookies was something my mom and i made every holiday season. i didn’t realize how much work it was until i decided to make some of my own this year. even though i had to run to the grocery store at 11 pm because i ran out of flour, i’m fortunate enough that my mom’s baking skills trickled down onto me. after finally getting the dough to a consistency that was manageable, the cookies turned out quite delicious and pretty darn cute! with cello bags and circle labels i already had, i packaged each one individually to give as gifts to my little (and a few big) cousins at our family holiday party. sometimes the smallest gift can contain the most love. and these cookies were definitely made with lots of love!
wherever you are, whomever you’re with, whatever you’re doing…
i hope it’s as SWEET as can be!
