What an honor it was to be a witness as my best friend April, and her then fiancé, Nathan, eloped casually on a beautiful Tuesday afternoon at the LA Arboretum.
I love that everything about how and where they chose to get married, was so perfectly them. No big announcement, no grand ceremony. Just the two of them, exchanging their personal vows with the tropical greenhouse as their backdrop.
I also had the privilege of designing their wedding announcement and I’m thrilled to finally be able to share it with you today.
Here is a rustic chic bridal shower invitation I recently worked on. The color palette was inspired by the bride’s favorite color, purple. The burlap ribbon was a last minute add on to give the invite that extra little rustic touch.
Kraft paper labels were used to wrap around soft lavender envelopes, which was a nice contrast to the darker purples used on the invite.

Michael and Stacy wanted a simple, yet elegant wedding invitation that would include their wedding colors and a custom logo, with their names and last name initial “W”, which would be used on various pieces of their wedding stationery set. Here’s a glimpse into their custom wedding invitation set.
