simplewear’s #1 fan

simplewear came to be, the day my nephew came to life.

the idea of decorating my sister’s baby shower with a string of clothespin hung baby onesies just wasn’t good enough for me.

as a graphic designer and owner of “in a card“, i knew i wanted to make each onesie extra special and very personal for my nephew. so the idea of individually styling the onesie and customizing each one came to be.

with so many inquiries on the customized onesies from the baby shower, i knew i had to pursue this idea.

and so, simplewear was created.

almost 4 years later, my sister FINALLY comes around to sharing pictures of my nephew wearing his first simplewear onesie. i guess, better late then never, right? lol…

check out my nephew lucas in the “made with love by” onesie available for purchase at simplewear.etsy.com

thanks mommy/sister ilona for sharing this adorable picture!

the “made with love by” onesie is simplewear’s #1 selling design and has been used in many ways to welcome and announce the birth of a new baby.  it’s so wonderful to hear that simplewear has become such a huge part in announcing one of life’s greatest gifts!

if you have a picture of your little one in a simplewear design, i invite you to become a fan and welcome you to share pictures on my facebook fan page.

little cupcake’s complete set

an Etsy customer recently requested matching thank you notes to go with the little cupcake invitations. so i decided to just complete the whole set by creating some little cupcake seals as well.

here is what the complete set looks like…

all available for purchase at my etsy shop, inacard.etsy.com.

i even have the matching little cupcake onesie/t-shirts available at simplewear.etsy.com.

luck be a lady

when debra came to me for custom invitations, for her casino night themed 30th birthday party, i could hardly contain my excitement. i always love the opportunity to design for a themed party and since i hadn’t done a casino night before, the ideas started running like crazy in my head.

here is what i came up with…

i hope these invitations make all of debra’s guests smile and cry tears of joy, just like the birthday girl did the first time i showed her this design.

color me notecards by kayla & lucas

my neice kayla, was so excited when my sister read her one of my past blog entries mentioning her name and her birthday party. so the other day, on the phone, she specifically asked me to write this blog entry.

kayla: “auntie ina, can you put my drawing on the computer?”

so this blog entry is dedicated to kayla and her brother lucas…

last month, i created a new set of notecards called, “color me” notecards. i had given a personalized set to both kayla and lucas for christmas. according to my sister, they were a big hit and both kids really enjoyed coloring and sending out thank you notes. well i recently received my thank you note from each one of them and i couldn’t be more proud of what they created.

here is their masterpiece…

kayla, age 4

lucas, age 3

these “color me first name” note cards are available for purchase on my etsy shop.
