i think it’s great when people contact me requesting a simplewear design to use as a part of their baby’s birth announcement or even a fun way to tell your family that you are expecting. it’s nice to be a small part of such a great moment in someone else’s life.

when i designed my 30th birthday invitations last year, i knew i wanted to turn the same design into milestone greeting cards. and so i’ve finally gotten around to reusing and recycling the art deco inspired design into 30th, 40th and 50th birthday specific greeting cards now available for purchase at my Etsy shop.
i recently had a request for a custom lil’ monkey simplewear baby onesie design with the personalization of the parent’s names. here is how it turned out…

this design is also available in toddler size t-shirts, which also make for a great gift to give a newborn baby and their older sibling. ’cause when one monkey sees, the other monkey does.
i’ve gotten several etsy orders from brides-to-be for my monogram note card designs. what a great and personal gift idea for bridesmaids!
here is a recent order i just did and actually remembered to take a quick pic of before mailing off.
this etsy customer went with the “art deco-rative” design, which is one of my favorites, for all seven of her bridesmaids.
