2nd annual LA renegade craft fair

i can’t believe it’s been over a month since my last blog entry promoting the renegade craft fair and now i’m about to share a few pics from the event. it’s safe to say in between that time, i was prepping and working on new designs to debut at the craft fair. all new designs are now posted and available for purchase on my etsy shops, inacard.etsy.com and simplewear.etsy.com

this was my first time doing a craft fair and i couldn’t have asked for a better one to start off with then the Renegade Craft Fair. such a wonderful experience and i can’t wait to do it again! i’m so glad my friend Jen Hewett, of Jen Hewett Studios, asked me to join her to share a booth and honored that we were chosen as one of their selected vendors.

i’ve had this print of hers bookmarked in my favorites for over a year and now i finally have it!  i can’t wait to get it framed and up in the bedroom.

the next few blog posts will be of some new designs i debuted at the craft fair, now posted on both the in a card Etsy shop and the simplewear Etsy shop.  i was really inspired by people’s reactions to certain products so my mind has been on the go since, with new ideas.  make sure to check back in for all the latest and greatest!

34.fourteen’s grand opening party

here are a few pics from the 34.fourteen grand opening party i attended last friday…

these gorgous gals are karen soto (right), the vision and owner of 34.fourteen and her oldest daughter, taylor (left).

and over in this corner we have… simplewear, making it’s first store debut!  i love that my product is surrounded by the adorable stuffed animals of JanieXY.  and of course, don’t forget the in a card note cards packaged and sitting pretty, peaking at the right corner.  🙂

here’s a pic of the hat i decorated and wore to the party.  i think someone else needs to have an alice in wonderland themed hat party so i can wear this creation one more time.

a note-able gift idea

i’ve gotten several etsy orders from brides-to-be for my monogram note card designs. what a great and personal gift idea for bridesmaids!

here is a recent order i just did and actually remembered to take a quick pic of before mailing off.


this etsy customer went with the “art deco-rative” design, which is one of my favorites, for all seven of her bridesmaids.

little cupcake’s complete set

an Etsy customer recently requested matching thank you notes to go with the little cupcake invitations. so i decided to just complete the whole set by creating some little cupcake seals as well.
