C H E E R S… and i’ll see you in 2013!

handmade with love by: me

when i was growing up, sugar cookies was something my mom and i made every holiday season. i didn’t realize how much work it was until i decided to make some of my own this year. even though i had to run to the grocery store at 11 pm because i ran out of flour, i’m fortunate enough that my mom’s baking skills trickled down onto me. after finally getting the dough to a consistency that was manageable, the cookies turned out quite delicious and pretty darn cute! with cello bags and circle labels i already had, i packaged each one individually to give as gifts to my little (and a few big) cousins at our family holiday party.  sometimes the smallest gift can contain the most love.  and these cookies were definitely made with lots of love!

a quote by an unknown author:

“Comfy jammies, cozy bed, big soft pillow for your head.  Worry not, the world can wait, take your time and recuperate.”

thought this might be a nice reminder with all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season.
