a kate spade inspired bridal shower

this past weekend my mom and sister threw me a bridal shower and to describe it in one word… PERFECTION!

it was a kate spade inspired theme, from the black, white, and pink colors, to the dots, stripes and quotes scattered throughout the house. the bubbly was flowing, the ladies laughing, and my heart bursting with so much joy!

my sister had ideas she wanted to do for the invites.  i helped her bring those ideas to life.

she printed, cut and assembled each invitation and i couldn’t be more proud of how beautiful they turned out.

the dessert table was filled with homemade goodies all baked by my sister.  she sure did bake her little tush off with coconut macaroons, vanilla & coconut cupcakes, and both banana & zucchini bread!

ranunculus and baby spray roses in all shades of pink made for perfect floral arrangements throughout the house.

these adorable little signs were scattered throughout the house with some of my favorite kate spade inspired quotes.

my clients jana, from Jana Williams Photography and bess, from Celadon & Celery did a youtube video last year on how to make flower rings and i suggested this idea to my sister as a great little activity for each guest to do when they arrived.  it was such a huge hit with all the ladies and definitely something i recommend if you want to offer a fun activity for your guests, but you’re not into the typical bridal shower games.

i chose a pink ranunculus flower for my ring, which matched oh-so perfectly with my pink heels.  🙂

i was showered with so many gifts and all the ladies agreed this was definitely one of the BEST wrapped gifts EVER!

thank you to all my family and friends that attended and showered me with so much love and well wishes on my journey to becoming a mrs. to feel, know, and have this amount of joy and love in my life is beyond words. the impressions these women leave on my life and in my heart makes me the woman i am today and the wife i will soon become.

thank you to my mom and sister for going above and beyond in throwing me the best bridal shower a girl could ever dream of.

thanks to my cousin joanie, for being such an awesome photographer and capturing so many amazing pictures. i swear there is not a single picture of me without a giant smile on my face that stretched from one ear to the other. i started to wonder what my eyes look like.  ha!

celadon & celery’s look book

i met bess at the beginning of the year and since have worked on a few design projects for her. recently bess contacted me to help design a look book for her company, celadon & celery, an NYC and Los Angeles event and floral design company. i love when people put together portfolio books. it’s a perfect time to gather all of the work they’ve done, take a step back, see all they have accomplished and all they can offer.

as a person on the outside seeing all of bess’ work for the first time, i was so impressed.  this young, talented, and oh-so creative woman has a lot going on!  visit her website and see for yourself!
