yesterday was such a whirlwind i didn’t get a chance to wish my readers a Merry Christmas.

i hope it was a lovely, cozy, warm celebration filled with lots of love, laughter and joy with family and friends.

mine was filled with all that and then some!  from the looks of the image below you’ll see that my view in warrior two will never be the same after yesterday.  🙂

great gatsby inspired save the dates

i was so honored when, fashion designer extraordinaire, nikol roberts contacted me to design her wedding save the dates.  nikol and her fiancé, luke, are tying the knot next year in thailand and they are going for a great gatsby inspired theme.  here’s a look at the finished piece.

the great gatsby inspired design is printed on both sides of a thick flat black paper stock with gold ink, while a complementing art deco style print was used to line each envelope.

the front side announces the couple’s special date and location, while the back side let’s guests know where they can get more information on all things wedding related.

i can’t wait to work on their invitations come next year.  with save the dates this fabulous, you can only imagine what the wedding invitations will look like!

jenna + eddie : love blooms wedding invitations

i did jenna & eddie’s, picture perfect save the date back in february and i recently finished their wedding invitation.  they really liked the design of my “love blooms” invitation so i used that same template and custom tailored it to fit jenna & eddie by incorporating their wedding colors, as well as their wedding flower.  here is how the invitation set turned out…

jenna being korean and eddie chinese, it was important to them to have their invitation in english as well as in korean and chinese.  so a great solution was to have an additional insert with the korean invitation on one side and the chinese on the other side.

all deco’d out for a shower

i’ve been patiently waiting to post images of these bridal shower invites, as the party was a surprise for the bride-to-be and i didn’t want to chance spoiling the news in any way.  this design was based off of my all deco’d out for 30 invitations.  the bridal shower was set to have a “great gatsby” theme so this design fit perfectly.

at the top of the invitation is a quote by robert brault:

jenna + eddie : picture perfect save the dates

jenna & eddie recently contacted me for their wedding save the dates.  the two had taken a series of pictures they wanted to incorporate into a photostrip style save the date.  here’s how they turned out.

i kept the classic black & white feel but slowly introduced colors that will later be used for the wedding.
